Teach USA Program
This is a program that offers the great opportunity to accredited teachers in the Dominican Republic to have a very well-paid professional experience for a whole year in schools in the United States. In addition, it opens up the valuable possibility for teachers to extend their experience for up to 3 years and to bring their family with them while they are working, if they so wish.
Teachers can be from: preschool, primary and secondary school and it includes all areas of knowledge, among which we can mention: Spanish, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, English, special education, among others.
Requirements:
- Age Between 18 and 50 years.
- Advanced mastery of English (TOEFL score min 84 / IELTS 6 or more - Essential)
- Have a college degree preferably in education or relevant fields.
- Minimum two years of experience as a full-time teacher.
- Meet at least one of the following 3 requirements:
- Be working as a full-time teacher, with a minimum of two years of experience at the time of application.
- If you are not working at the time of application, have at least 2 years of experience as a teacher in the last 8 years.
- Have completed a master's or degree program within the 12 months prior to application.
